Dog Training

 

 

All dogs need training! Whether you have a puppy; a new-to-you-rescue dog or an older untrained dog, I offer a dog training program to meet your needs.

 

Group Classes - Provide a supervised yet distracted environment to practice your dog's attention to you. Several levels of classes are offered indoors year round and outdoors as season and weather permit.

CLASS INFO

My classes meet for one hour per week for 6 weeks. Please bring  proof of vaccinations to the first class. Puppies must have the second series before coming into class. All dogs must be wearing a flat collar attached to a nylon or leather leash not longer than 8 feet (no chain or flexi-leads please). You should wear comfortable shoes and clothing you choose to wear around dogs. Please be sure to bring lots of yummy treats already cut into tiny pieces in a treat pouch, fanny pack, or carpenter's apron. Treat suggestions: cooked chicken or turkey, freeze-dried liver, sliced hotdogs or meaty dog training treats. For puppies, please bring your puppy's food as treats to class. All family members are encouraged to attend class. Clickers and handouts will be given in addition to a course syllabus.  Payment by check or cash is expected at the first  class. My indoor classes are held at No Bones About It 1786 BEACON STREET in Brookline http://www.nobonesaboutitgrooming.com .

My outdoor  classes meet at various locations in the Boston area. These classes are offered from early spring through late fall, weather permitting.
