Behavior Consultations

Are you concerned about your dog's behavior? Does he nip, snarl, growl, or lunge at you? Your children? Visitors? Strangers on the street?  Has already bitten someone? Or, maybe your dog barks all day or destroys your belongings when left alone. Eliminates in the house. Doesn't 'like' other dogs. Is afraid of everything and everyone. Protective of toys or chewies.

I offer the convenience of in-home consultations for all problem behaviors in dogs. While some issues can be resolved in one or two sessions, most require more time. Your commitment to the process involves a willingness to change how you interact with and care for your dog.

How does this work? You can begin my information gathering process by filling out my questionnaire. During the initial two hour session at your home, I will observe your dog's behavior and your interactions with him or her while asking more questions about your dog's life history. I will demonstrate how to handle specific daily situations and will lay out a training and behavior modification plan for the long term. We will work together over several sessions to resolve your dog's behavior issues.

My service area includes: All of Boston and Metro-West, Brookline,   Newton, Watertown, Wellesley, Natick, Framingham, Needham, Weston, Quincy, Milton, Braintree, Weymouth, Waltham, Belmont, Arlington, Cambridge. I have traveled as far as south as Westborough; west to Upton and north to Reading. Clients have come to Brookline to work with me from as far away as Sturbridge, Springfield, Cape Cod, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. I have a growing network of colleagues to refer to as well.
